At Petit Couteau, everything revolves around enjoyment, people, and that special something—or, as we say, "the thing in the air."

This is where passion, quality, and warmth come together. Every plate, every smile, and every conversation stems from a genuine love for what we do. Our team is diverse—people who love what they do and whose energy and warmth make Couteau what it is: a place that inspires you to enjoy life.

Fabienne and Remy founded Petit Couteau out of their love of travel, good food, and meaningful encounters. Questions such as: How and with whom do I spend my time? Who and what do I want to support with my money? Where does my food come from? accompanied them along the way. This is how Petit Couteau came into being – incidentally, the name is derived from Fabienne's surname, "Messerli."

Today, Petit Couteau is carried on by Felix and Jan, as well as by many dedicated individuals who make a lasting impression every day with their dedication and enthusiasm—whether in the kitchen, in service, or in conversation with our guests.
Our goal? To create a place where enjoyment is more than just good food. A place that awakens joie de vivre, brings people together, and shows that atmosphere is no coincidence—it is created by people who put their hearts into it.
